I bought the set used for a really good price, the rims are not my first choice - but they are better then steelies

Not a bad idea. the rims are not in the best of shape, but the hakka 1s are basically brand new

Because to run 18" rims in tires is expensive. give the choice I would run 17" in the winter, but keep in mind these tires/rims are used and I didn't have a choice of rim type or size. The price was good and tires still have 100% tread depth.
I got them a price of less then half of getting 16" steelies with Hakka 1s.
