[DUBBN]

there are 4 wires for each speaker (the two on the dash/96 golf)
and they are diff on the pass side and driver side
anyone know which is+ and which is- or what those crazy germans were thinkg

I might be wrong but I think VW uses brown to indicate ground or negative.

each dash speaker has 2 sets of wires. one set goes from the deck to the dash speaker, the other goes from the dash speaker and connects to the door speakers....

So, is it possible to bypass the tweeters? I have co-axials in my doors, and I think one of my OEM tweeters is blown.
