Ok, so I tested my check engine light on my dash today (it doesn't light up when you first start the car to test itself like I was told it should), and the bulb works. All the wiring is intact. Has a red/white and a yellow/black wire coming off the back. So I am crawling around under the dash, and I find a red/white wire with a male connector hanging there, and a yellow wire with a female connector hanging there. The are right by the fuse/relay box. Anybosy know where these go and why my check engine light doesn't work? It's on a 90 Jetta GLI.
