Hello, fellow enthusiasts!
I am interested in doing some hikes while staying at Fontana for WITW16. I wanted to post up and see if anyone else would be interested in joining me for some trails.
(I will be on foot, not biking, and I might climb a few things).
If you are interesting in joining me, please send me a friends request, and message me.
Closer to the event date, I will post my planned trips from the following trail options. I do want to plan a longer hike, that will include a section of the Appalachian Trail.
Let's enjoy not only the roads, but nature too!

Hiking

I do a lot of hiking in Maine all summer and ski all winter. Your idea sounds good but I'm not driving down for 15 hours to go hiking when I'm arriving Thurs night and leaving Sunday. That leaves only 2 days to drive the dragon and hang out with old and new friends. Hope you don't have to do this alone. If so, look out for the hungry bears coming out of hiberation. haha!
