Ya, they are fairly rare. There are a few guys on here with cars with them. I have seena couple up here in Van. over the last decade. Presently know an acquaintance
with a bueatiful Cedar green 81 with a color matched ragtop in mint condition.

Look at the condition of that thing! It must leak like a siv (sp)

plus it ain't even cheap, that might not even get sold, imho
would that fit my GTi, too? the sunroof on it need some parts

i called that guy a long time ago and he tried to tell me he would sell it to me for $100 but all i need is the Vinyl, But damn that web site is spendy...

My Rabbit has one on it and it leaks like a sieve(sp). It's the greatest thing in summer though...unfortunately it rains 8 months out of the year here...

So...yes...my seat gets wet and there's usually at least a small puddle in the car.
