Should just mean it was made in germany/europe. Search around, there's a recent thread where this was hashed out. It's to cover the hole that euro models have.

While some may have been, it doesn't mean that it was made in Germany. It's just a badge to show where it was created/designed it's roots ya dig? like a complementry badge to the VW one. since Wolfsburg wouldn't really exist like it does today if VW didn't setup shop there.

Actually, the city of Wolfsburg didnt exist before VW came there. Wolfsburg (wolf's castle) is the name of a mantion in the area called Fallersleben in Brunswick, Germany. Since there was no town there, the name of the nearby mantion was chosen for the new city to be risen there. So this badge is a tribute to the old castle, on which gronds the VW factory was founded.
