'91 Corrado, Has all the standard stuff, A?C PW, PDL, Automatic.. How many Amps is the Alternators rated on these. I ask this cause I will be dumping in my stereo system, with an average draw of 30 to 40 amps, Cranked roughly about 70 to 80 amps.

Cool Thanks for the info. Which this leads me into another question. How easy are those alts. to have rewound and beefed up, and are there any local shops that do it, and do it well?

Just to let you know, I know every city and state shops are different but to give you an idea of price, mine costed like 140 bux. Just so you have an idea.

Was that for a rewound alt, with higher output. Or just the price you paid for new alt? 90 amps is rather beefy compaired to what I did have. Class CT-1 Battery, and a 60 Amp Honda alt. Hey I only Burnt up one alt with the same system for five years.

that was for mine to get beefed up....i cant exactly remember exactly the rating of the beefed up amp cause it was when i had me a2 jetta with 6 12's and it was like 3 years ago. I know the guy who did it said he beefed it up the most possible
