I don't think its a dumb thing at all to be honest. I would sell my mk3 to go back to a mk2 again if it was right. I'm talkin full respray in dolphin grey, smoothed items over...rallye front end, fitted 18s, or some dished BBS 15s and go euro like EVERYONE else is doing right now. Only way i'd go back to a mk2 overall though is if it had a 1.8t in it, or a VR6. Have the engine rebuilt and it'd be like being in a new car. Mk3 dash swap or corrado dash, full recaros....oh yes it could be nice.
My freind with a turbo mk4 Jetta VR6 is very close to doing this same procedure. 91 Jetta, drop in a Vr6 and a turbo and well it's time to say see ya!

yea i think this is a great idea.. and i just hope maybe i can find someone to think bout it.. but i dont know how im gonna pry someone away from an mk2vr6.. for my mk3vr6.. or something.. but i mean.. if anyone has any ideas as to helping me do this.. that would be great.. i really appreciate it...
