Im thinking a litlle lowered with some nice 18's..or 17's. Either red or black paint. Has anyone seen these cars modded at all. I dont know if they can be extensively worked on or not.

Don't think they ever came with a manual, which would make me lose interest.
Always thought they looked kind of cool, though.

Oh that changes everything. Im happy with my car was just hinking about it today. Sucks they dont come with stickshift. Some pics would be cool.
How much can a 2.2 or 2.3 be modded?

Probably as much as a 2.2 litre Accord, should be the same engine.

Re: Would you drive an Acura 3.0CL? (simple)

Hell yeah, I'd drive one. Very comfortable, very nice car. I drove a 2.2CL 5spd when it first came out. A nicer Accord basically. Not exactly sporting - but nice. Rapid depreciation makes them sleeper deals.

OK, I really like the last gen CL, but there's this one on campus that has an exhaust, 17 inch wheels, and dropped. it looks STUPID (imho). I don't know what it is about that car, but it looks ridiculous. I have no idea if other modified CL's look the same, but for some reason this one just looks moronic. I can't even explain why it looks so stupid...I think that the last gen CL is one of the few cars that looks best stock. Some clear lenses make it look much better, though. Maybe if someone posted some pics of a good looking modified one, I'd change my mind.

One more thing...on the subject of modifications, I suggest getting a 4 cylinder and replacing it with the Prelude VTEC engine. Then a turbo kit.
If you're looking into mods, its a better idea to go with the 4 cylinder, because, like someone said before, its the same engine as the Accord, and everything will fit. I believe there's even turbo kits out for the F22. The 3.0 wasn't used very long, and I really don't think there's much out there for it. I may be wrong though.
