Re: Would you sport this?? (Preppy)

The white one looks good. What's it got under the hood?
Re: Would you sport this?? (KonigGTI)

I've always thought those look pretty good, but based on the one I drove in GT3 the performance is just so-so...
Isn't it great to base real-world judgement on video games? Talkin' bout my generation.
Re: Would you sport this?? (Fly-GTI)

The dual exhaust doesnt look like it belongs there. And I dont like those rims. Other that that its pretty nice.

H22A, same basic engine as the Prelude VTEC, but tuned up to 220hp. Backed by a 5 speed.

Nah, not really feelin' it. Looks like a bodykitted accord with a big wing and some rims.
Re: Would you sport this?? (Preppy)

I like the back more than the front - those tails look good.
The H-badge in the grill needs to shrink too.. http://****************.com/smile/emthdown.gif

I got a ride in a lowered Accord Type-R with 18" wheels and stuff. Damn that thing had some good handling!!! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

The white one minus the bookshelf rear wing-thing is pretty cool. I'd make space for it at my house.
Re: Would you sport this?? (maximus_manx)

Not only would I sport it I'd pimp it DAWG!

I like the white one. I dunno about the dual exhaust, just doesn't look right to me.
Re: Would you sport this?? (VWVancouver)

I thought the Accord Type-R's had an enlarged version of the 1.8L Integra Type-R engine to 2.0. Maybe I'm wrong.

i'd rather take the US version. the euro one is OK, but i don't care for 4 doors. other than that, it gets a http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: Would you sport this?? (Preppy)

I'd sport the hell out of it. Phenomanel sports sedan! 2.2L DOHC VTEC, sports suspension, Limited-slip differential, and a 5-speed. Absolutley awesome! http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif
BTW, the Accord Type-R is the European model (as seen in the first post). It has 212 hp. The Accord Euro-R is the Japanese model (go figure), and is the red car with the hood open. It has 220 hp, and I have seen it in action in Best MOTORing videos. On the track, it is faster than a BMW 330i. Impressive if you ask me. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

Re: Would you sport this?? (Prelusion98)

Anyway, the problem between different European and Japanese versions will be solved when the new Accord comes out in 2003. The European version will be canned, because the low sales here don´t justify a proper Euro version.
Re: Would you sport this?? (Eolair)

Yes I would!!! Id hate to say it but "It looks prety darn good"
Re: Would you sport this?? (Euro Dude)

Although the profile is stellar, am I the only one who sees the USDM Acura TL in the front end styling? Not that anything is wrong with that, also a bit of the latest USDM Mitsubishi Galant in the tail section and B&C pillar? Delete of the dual exhaust?

A certain German mark needs to shrink their badges as well.
