Good luck trying to find a GLI for 7k. You'll have better luck finding one on craigslist. Vilseck auto sales just sold a 05 GLI for 14k, and I just bought my 20th a month ago for 9k.

The next question is, where will you be located? My best advice, scour craigslist, autotrader, cars.com, etc if you're stateside.

a 2004 with 76,000 miles has a KBB in Fair condition of $8,520. I think your $7,000 cash is a bit of a lowball stretch. I wish you the best, but I don't think your going to find a GLI for $7,000 unless its beat up good.
Try [email protected] (I believe thats his screen name on here) He should have one for sale with a salvage title for around $7,000.
