I need a new pedal assembly, prefer early 4kQ. 4 cyl.? No Thanks.
CoupeGT should work too. Must be in good shape. My pedal is worn at the clevis pin, be sure to check that.
Thanks!

Re: WTB: 4kQ Pedal cluster (dubbernutter)

There will be some wear on any used set. I have one from an 87 4000QCS. I'll see if I can get a decent photo of it. It is out of the car.

Yeah, i kinda thought that. As long as its not as bad as the mine.
I hade to make a new bushing for the new pin i put in. That old bushing was shot to hell. Not too sure how long the sleeve i made will last, but i guess i could always try to make the most "perfect" sleeve/repair for/to it.
Yeah sure. Get a photo or two if you can. Thanks!

Thanks! Good, it looks nice.
I just need to make 100% sure there are not any changes between '84 and whatever year you have there.

Re: WTB: 4kQ Pedal cluster (dubbernutter)

The parts list disc, gives a assembly number of 857 721 115. For a 4000Q. HYD clutch. The C-pedal is the same in all B-2 applications. Clutch pedal is 857 721 315- C. Bushings are the same. 443 721 153A ....So given all the unknowns. The pedal will work. The main houseing may have variations from Year to Year. J.B. in ID.

Re: WTB: 4kQ Pedal cluster (von-klink)

I have one from the 84 I just parted, already pulled and ready to go. If von-klink's won't work for you, I'll send you mine. I doubt there's any functional difference, though. I actually broke my clutch pedal on my old 84 Quantum TD wagon. Clutch was wearing, but at the break I found a bubble in the casting...that was a fun fix on the side of the road... http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif

I should have Klink's here sometime today, i think it will work.
Actually, most of the play in pedal was from it needing a bleeding, which i did, works great now.
The jigrig i made to hold the Clevis pin until i got a replacement pedal still works fine too surprisingly, kinda dont want to put in a new pedal!

Cool. I believe I'm going to send this one out to Germany along with all the cruise controls switches and hoses and other bits. I guess the non-cruise cars didn't have the same bracket to hold the vacuum switches.

Got it in, took around 10min., I need to put up a pic of the old pedal with the copper sleeve made from a large, washer type electrical connector.
Its the part you crimp.
