coupe gt right?? there is a local yard in my area that has like 3 of those... i actually pulled a sweet sterring wheel from the '82 and put it on my gti... i am gonna try and go in a week or two.. i will pick it up for you if i think of it... you just have to throw me like $10- $5 to ship, $5 for the arm... if not ill try and remember to get the part# for ya..

anyways I paid $27 shipped for my a4 used wiper arms.
some thing like so would be nice.
it wouldn't be much to ground ship from RI to Nh

I didn't have time to ship them out today I will tomorrow thought there is a staples down the road from where I am working.
They are boxed and bubble wrapped: ready to go I just need to find some time

Wiper arms arrived safe and sound yesterday thanks Josh.
so I open the box and think to myself... these arent the right ones... sure enough they dont fit on my MkII (My first clue should have been when you said that you used A4 replacements on your car). so I look at the arm for a bit and decide that I can remove the little wing and reapply it to my existing wiper arm in the same factory method...it worked, so happy ending! The wing is actually about 1/3 larger than on the coupe gt but still fits and looks factory. I will post pics in an hour or so when the sun comes up.

while we are at it what is the purpose of that piece?
something to do with airflow I would believe
The newer audis have one that is cliped on to the wiper blade not the arm
I will see if I can get a pic maybe your curious anyways

its to keep the wiper from skipping across the windshield at higher speeds.
