I fixed mine. Quite well too, Used copper 3/4" plumbing 2 45 degree angle parts and one 2" slug and Loctite Instant Epoxy (the clay bar stuff).
You may want to give it a try, you can paint it hitemp black too and you wont even be able too tell.
