OK, I’m looking into buying either a MK1 or MK2 GTI. I would prefer the following if anyone has one they are thinking of parting with:
-VR6 motor, lower mileage if poss.
-No Rust.
-New Paint
-Clean Interior.
Basically I want a show car that I don’t have to do any work on. I am from the UK so I’m looking for a really good euro look. I don’t want a roll cage in the back, it has to have rear seat. I would also like single round headlights up front as opposed to the rectangular ones. I would consider the double rounds. I am heading back to the UK next week for two weeks. I have the cash so there will be no waiting. Remember I want a spotless car, no projects that still need 90% of the work done. I will change rims, seats, and paint if I have to but I don’t really want to. I am coming from diving E46 M3’s and really want a change back to a car that is massive amounts of fun to drive. Like I said it really needs a VR6 so I can supercharge it.
