from what i hear, a HID kit in our black stock housings it too bright and unfocused to be used. it creates massive glare. an Ecode housing has a focused projector lens that aims the light down and across. I am in the same situation you are in. I'd buy a kit, I just dont want to loose those sexy housings.

u need a real ecode or projector to do a drop in kit
