Not sure if this is the right place to post but figured it would be a good place to start. I have a 2001 jetta gl with the 2.0 motor. So I have been reading and reading and reading and still cannot find clear directions to do a vr6 swap. I noticed that he 98 NB has the same motor as mine and many are doing or have done the swap by using the 12v vr6 from a mk3. What I have read seems like it would be very easy and all i would need is the motor, trans, wireing harness and ecu, and things would bolt right up. I also read that all mk4 chasis are the same and that the motor from a 99 vr6 will bolt up without any fab work. So my question is this, Is there a write up on how do complete the swap. Any help would be great, thanks.
