I find it very interesting how much of the Honda stuff works with the Dub chassis. Very cool.

I'm not a huge fan of it, but it's cool. What makes me dislike it the most though is the ignorant ****ing Honda fan boys who think they're the **** and VW is ****... What's the most experience they've had in a VW? Beat them in a race??? Half these guys that talk **** are usually the one's with the ****tiest cars in the scene too, which is hilarious. Anyways that's the end of my mini rant.:p
Love it. After working on and riding in my friends Honda's I love how they drive, I'm just not a fan of the body lines. Mk2+Vtec=Win
I consider myself an automotive enthusiast before anything else. I love vw's and most likely won't actively seek out another brand for quite some time. This swap is okay, I think that there would have been better honda motors to swap into it but whatever. Not very original but still pretty cool. It's all about cleanliness for me. They could have swapped a smart car engine into it for all I care as long as it's done right. I think it's funny how one of those honda guys thinks that their scene started slamming their cars first.
why would anyone hate a reliable honda motor? we have to replace our old tired 8v's at some point right? Might as well think outside the box if you have the money, means, and experience.

(for those of us with 8v's on their last leg...)
Now, if someone swaps a double-wishbone suspension into a mk2 then I’ll be REALLY impressed

Close to it :p

I absolutely love this.
Lmao @ the dude saying the VR is unreliable too... underpowered? Sure, but unreliable? No.

You gotta understand that after the countless beating their motors go through because of the guys that think they're Ferrari's they get tired too. My friends got a B series and it pings, chatters, and the trans grinds. I can't even tell you the countless amount of times I've been at a Honda meet with friends and have seen people grind gears because the transmissions are crap when they push 10 hp more than stock on them. Idk man maybe if wouldn't grind my gears (lol) as much if the Honda guys weren't such *******s about talking **** about VW's reliability. When in fact they've never even owned one before.
i want to see this car when its all done alot of space in that bay

haha like 5 people came out and said wtf?:sly: about this

Coming from a long relationship with Honda's, with good tuning a GSR bottom end will hold upwards for 450whp all day. And love every second of it.
Not many turbo honda motors!

I actually don’t hate on it for the concept... *BUT* with all the 1.8Ts and 2.0Ts floating around to swap why would you go through all that trouble (swap, rods, pistons, turbo bits) to boost a B series in a VW? I think you’re always better off starting with an engine that is turbo from the factory, even if you plan to go BT
Yeah not many *Stock* turbo Honda motors... why? Really efficient balance of power and gas mileage, oh and power. No need for a turbo! Over 200 hp 16v 2.0! or more, from what I remember, (s2000), I think the Acura SUV has the first passenger honda turbo motor.

Why put that motor in? Get it running, put the rods, pistons, all the turbo goodies in and it will be FAST!!!!

Cool project, my brother is all about older Honda/Acuras, project looks real clean.
WOW id love a honda swap into my mk2 that ish would mash!!! exept id like a k20a out of a rsx type s :p:thumbup::thumbup: but damn thats dope
I still like my torque. ;)
Hah dittp, but it looks really clean!
i still say i wanna see an sr20det in a mk2 :p
I lol at V-TECH:thumbdown:
Regardless, this guy is inovative. It always cool to see people trying out new things :D
I like it
