hey all!
You are such a great resource I value your feedback on shocks and springs.
I have about 56k on my 01.5 4 motion variant. It is really starting to get "floaty" and the ride is not as tight as it used t be.
I'm not really interested in lowering it or making it more sporty but I do want to restore the stiff ride it used to have--without going to the dealer to have it done.
What do you recommend?
What shocks?
What springs?
Thanks!!!

I don't have direct experience with this set-up but based on your criteria I'd look towards H&R OE Sports and Bilstein HD's.

The 4 Motion Variants (Wagons) are limited when it comes to suspensions. You basically are limited to Eibach or coilovers. The Eibach Pro-System kit contains both replacement springs and shocks for the 4 Motion Variant. The drop is minimal and the handling is improved while keeping a close-to-stock ride.
You might want to check Shox.com for prices on the full Eibach Pro-System kit.
Good luck,

I see that this lowers the car aprox. 1.2 inches does this require any additional parts related to lowering?
Thanks.

If you do not want to lower it,just change the shocks. Konis are available
for the 4MO and work great.
