in am still in the middle of getting all the correct tuning parts for my car and i still see another 2000 to go. the thing that sucks is that when the car is all done i will have over 10,000 in a scirocco

Oh for Gawd sakes you guys stop complaining. My friend has over $15,000 in his 76 BMW 02 and it's a stock restoration with a hi-perf engine from Top End Perf. My other friend Sean who owns the Miata on my site has close to $35,000 into his 94 Miata autocross car and payed $17,000 for it used. $10,000 for a car that would beat both of these cars in an acceleration test is gift. My Scirocco weighs about 1900lbs and with my 3A it will blow the doors of both my friends cars, total cost about $6000.

yup, i do ALL the work myself (except this tranny), and i am WELL over 10K
probably closer to 20. but then again its CDN coin.

i actually installed the motor and tranny by myself yesterday, so that is why it is taking so long. plus i am really careful with torqing stuff down, clenaing parts, etc.. i am in no rush.
