Well I have been not the most happy with my purchuse of the Z-box . I like it but the power was lacking. I knew the filter was wrong and the belts were slipping but I gained 4-5psi after some adjustments.

What do you think the HP will be at 9psi 6K tach ?

Don't over tighten that pulley you will blow the bearing. You should only have 1/8 to 1/4 of play on the serp belt. the pulley belt the same. 9lbs with cams I bet you would see at least 270whp.

Yes, or you also might destroy the idler pulley.
I would hope at 9 psi with cams youd see 270 whp. You should be able to come close to that without the cams and just headers,exhaust and water injection.

The vortech kits put out around 8-9 and all the dynos of them that I've seen show around 250 whp with the normal mods like exhaust,,, I can't remember if they had cams or not. I hit 10 psi at high rpms.
Why do you think that the Z-charger will hit 270 whp? Just curious. I know the software is really good and much better than the vortech kit software but with the same psi do you think that the software will account for 20 whp?

Note that no one said that 270 whp would be achieved with the blower alone...

I do not think the estimates are far off especially since there are a few people that are putting out ~260 whp with cams and the upgraded software at 6-7 psi...

Look and install time . Also I got a SMOKIN DEAL at HillsideImports.com since I was the first one in that area to get one installed .

I got a smoking deal , but i was hte first one for them so they needed a car to do the setup on , install time was jut under 4 hours with a boost gauge . Price , better than if I tried to get a GB on them.
call them , they are doing a MK4 setup in the next week or so on there Show MK4 jetta .
