Watch: RS6 Avant Meets a Home-brew S4 Avant

Auditography was in Malibu last week shooting the RS6 Avant with the rest of the automotive YouTube world. But the channel wasn’t satisfied with just shooting one wagon, so they brought along an S4 Avant.

This one was built outside of Ingolstadt by one Tyler Setterstrom. The recipe was simple enough: take one A4 Allroad, one S4 drivetrain, mix to combine.

As you might imagine, that last step was a little more complicated than the instructions suggest so it took some 150 hours of labor to make it all happen.

But it’s all worth it because you get a dope wagon with a 3.0-liter turbo V6 that’s been upgraded by ABT Tuning to make 500 hp. You’re also unlikely to see another one of these at your local cars and coffee.

The RS6 Avant, as you well know, is powered by Audi’s 4.0-liter V8 making 591 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. That gets it to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds.
