If you were upset that the new Touareg isn\u2019t coming to the US, then we\u2019re about to make your day worse. Because ABT has unveiled its modification plan for the SUV and it upset you even more.<\/p>\n

The marquee version is the V8 TDI. ABT\u2019s proprietary tune will pump the power up from 422 hp to 500 hp and boosts torque from about 665 lb-ft to 715 lb-ft.<\/p>\n

If you didn\u2019t opt for the V8, ABT will still boost your V6. From a starting point of 285 hp and 442 lb-ft of torque, ABT will get you 330 hp and 480 lb-ft.<\/p>\n

Along with the power upgrades, ABT will also furnish European drivers with 22-inch wheels and an aero package that makes the SUV look a little more aggressive.<\/p>\n
