fly across the pond. go to germany and buy one. have it shipped over and bam you got a varient
the thing is how are you going to register it since this car wasnt sold state side.

Re: Neu pics of THE varient!! (2pointslowgtizzy)

There are rumours of a dealership in Mexico that sells them. Its possible then, to bring them over the border but you have to go through hell as the US emission standards etc. etc. are different from those in Mexico.
Its a goal of mine to get one into Canada.

I'm not exactly "new" to the VW world, however, THIS is the first non-MK4 A-chassis Wagon I've ever seen or heard of! On second look I see the styling cues of the MK3. So what was this originally, Jetta or Golf Wagon? Have to put this into my records of things I didn't know before.

They say you should learn something new everyday, this is mine for today.

Re: Neu pics of THE varient!! (Halx)

yes that is a golf variant (or wagon to us yanks) my friend, mk3 not mk4.
about all this importing crap..how hard is that really and would it be worth the $$$. is there anywhere i can research this or someone to contact that you know of. i mean im not thinking anytime soon, but it would be cool down the road. i mean you could clean up the mk3 class at a show with a nice clean variant imo.
