Noticed that Budget and Enterprise charge a $25/day extra fee if your under 25. So if you're renting it for over a week its a whopping $200 extra.
Anyone know of any companies that DONT charge this fee or at least have very cheap weekly specials?

yea, i rented a car from Enterprise as well, when I was 22-23. The guy said he was supposed to charge me, but he didn't.. I rented by myself and with a credit card, so I think they have the authority to let the surcharge slide based on judgement of how the car is being used. I wasn't that guy renting it with 3 college buddies for a road trip to Daytona Beach. All I did was use it locally for 5 days accumulating about 120 miles.

U-Haul.
I'm serious. In-town short-term rentals are CHEAP. http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif They'll rent to anyone with a license.

There are contract ID codes you can use when reserving that will wave the fee...

ID Codes are your best bet. When auditioning for graduate programs, I had to fly around with two rather large instruments. When I booked car rentals through the airline company du jour, I never had a problem renting at 21 and/or paying under age surcharges.
