so today i get in the rado and plug in my radar detector....it goes through its start up sounds and everything seems fine, i put the key in and turn it and nothing happens....so i look at the dash and there is no time or mileage and my radar detector isnt working now.....so i pull the hood release to take a look at the battery and as soon as i pulled the release everything starts working again....

I know what you're going through man.. I have some freaking big fat arse gremlins in my ride. My brakes, wipers, rear defogger don't work and I have no idea what's causing the problem either.

I think gremlins worked on my car all night cause this morning I went to go to work and I have been loosing oil pretty bad so I put some oil in and start her up then I hear a Gurgling sound...so I shut her off and try to open the hood....HOOD cable snapped from the lever! but it popped one side up. I get out of the car and I see a river of oil flowing down from under my car

I think something is loose around the oil cooler cause I was going to replace that last weekend and started to but had to put it back together to go to work all week. hopefully that is my prob.
I got the hood open though cause the one side was up so I pulled the cable out that side and popped it.

the Corrado lighter housings are tricky. The VW Toureg flash lights dont really work to well in there either. The barrel design allows a cross contact on certain devices & this pops the fuse, which also shares the LCD on your cluster.

i know how ya feel man, thought i had figured all my gremlins out, it was fine for about 3 weeks and i went to start it yesterday... dead
