anyone?

Re: rock in yo face (dubb~stylee)

Had that happen one time and the "rock" went down the neck of my t-shirt. No big deal, stung a little at first.
Then the "rock" decided it was time to seek revenge and proceeded to sting the crap out of me! Turned out that the rock was a wasp that came to and didn't like the current surroundings. Needless to say I just about came out of my pants and almost caused an accident. You don't ever want to get stung in the kidney area of your back...that does not feel good.
I ride a Harley too, so I know what it's like to get sandblasted on the freeway. You can usually see the wasp's/bees coming though. Grasshoppers hurt the most...

hahaha, thats sounds very funny, but it's true. My friend was riding shotgun in my C one day over the summer and outta no where a stone pegged him in the eye! we had no idea where it came from but it was very odd

Re: rock in yo face (Zyrod)

Had a buddy from the UK in my truck ( sorry it wasn't in the C ) and he starts dancing around in the seat. I thought my cherry had come off my cig and got him, I looked and it was still there. We pulled over on the side of the road and he jumped out doing this dance and shaking his shorts leg, I'm trying to help him as our other friends following pull up. They are watching me help him shake his shorts ( must of looked real bad with me pulling on his pants ). They jump out of the car and say WTF are you doing. The poor guy is starting to scream about now and out pops a Yellow Jacket. It got him on the sac ( yes that one ) not once but twice. OUCH

Re: rock in yo face (CorradoKidd)

my guess is its the way the mirror sticks out from the car. it does a good job of deflecting objects at high speeds towards the facial reigions with the most deadly accuracy

. need less to say i always have my sunglasses on during the day just for that reason........cuz my ac dont work yet and the windows are always down

Re: rock in yo face (Stuff)

I can't remember getting hit in the face in my first Corrado, in the 10 years I owned it.
However in my current C, I have been hit multiple times. The worst was when some huge insect splattered on my left lens of my Revo's. Don't know how he got in, I was doing 75 mph. Scarred the pi$$ out of me for a sec.
Need to get the AC fixed so I can close the windows.

*Ya had that happened and drop my cigarette on my jacket
Image
then to my brand new blue jeans

As I tried to put the damn cigarette out I noticed lil flames comming from my jacket, I had the window wide open @ 80 mph and the wind might have contributed to the flame. I was able to put out the lil flame of my jacket and jeans but @ the same time my floor mat is burning. had to stop and put it out with my Coca-cola

*Suffered no burns on my skin but left holes on my jeans, jacket and driver side floor mat

Re: rock in yo face (djrado)

I too have been peened in the forhead by a bug, it left a red mark. I also had a bug splatter on the side mirror, and lets just say they don't taste like chicken. It to have been also tagged by "road shrapnel" as I Call it. You can witness the wonderful air flowaround the stock side mirrors that causes this wonderful phenomenom. When it's raining out, you'll see the wind in between the side mirror will tend to spray in towards the window. the ariflow seems to break off around the side mirror seeing it is more rounded, rather than running at a full angle like other cars. When you see the water churning inbetween the mirror and the side window, you'll also notice that it hits the window at such an angle that if you were to lower the window, the angle of that air flow seems to be in line with the drivers head. I more often than not get tagged by bugs.
