These will indeed fit, at least for the front doors. I got normal VW logo ones for my driver and passenger front doors, plug and play but fitting them into place, they can be a little snug - nothing detrimental to the vehicle or use of puddle light.

 

Interesting. I originally ordered a set as well of Amazon. They "sort of" fit. Like you said, I really felt I had to jam them back in and was able to pop them back out very easily, so I returned them. Maybe I'll give these a go.

 

Has anyone installed the VW accessory ones? If so, got any pics of them lit up at night?
