A stock 225TT gained about 45hp at 19psi on an smallport SEM w/02x :thumbup: You will see a lot more power :beer: Your SEM flows 32+CFM more than the smallport - check the FAQ, there is tons of info

 

gained 45bhp simply by swapping to a big port head? What was his start hp? Trying to calculate flow difference in % :wave:

Tapp's 630/70 is definitely only written for stock intake manifold and stock small port head. With minor tweaks from Dubnub I was able to smooth out some throttle problems on my setup, but there's a huge room for improvement. This thing by and large runs poorly.

 

Yes, I see some weird o2 corrections on boost... tried to add alfa N value up til now 35%... but still not getting less than 15o2 correction. Also messing with the trace histogram now to smooth things out.

But just to know ballpark what alfa N values I should write would be wicked...

 

You're going to need more than 15% more fuel in corrections.

I'm not familiar with Maestro so I wouldn't be able to tell you what you need to adjust.

 

Ok, Ill just keep adding values til it reads less than 10. I think my setup flows A LOT better than what tapp's 630/70 file would indicate.

 

The SEM Intake flows

271, 275, 275, 271 in standard AEB port config with our preliminary CNC porting process. We have since improved it from when the analysis was done; so I'm estimating about 5-8 CFM (conservatively) more than what was published.

I can def say..I gained 20+whp...just from a large port sem on a small port head...now if I could figure out my issue..I could show what a worked large port with sem and cams does...
