Do you have to hide your purchases from your girlfriend? Just the other day I was in my kitchen and I here "what's Turn2?" as she's looking at a receipt I had yet to "misplace." She asked one time if she got a VW tatoo would I spend more money on her. So yeah I was bored and decided to start this thread.

no, I don't have to hide "mods" from my gf (but I don't go bragging about them to her)
I find its never best to brag to certain people about certain things
I'll let my parents think my car is close to stock
I get nothing out of telling them that I have seen past 150 in my car, so I don't (and we are both happier because of it...)

same here. the less my fiance knows about what i spend on my car, the better. she thinks modifying cars are stupid and a waste of money. we drive each other nuts![Image]()

Ive got something worse than a girlfriend or parents, Ive got my best friend who apparatnly has to know "everything" and decide for me wether or not I should get it. I just get stuff now put in on and dont say anything. Hmmm if she only knew that Ive got 2 gauges in a cf pod, a new trunk setup with the NOS bottles right smack in the middle. I guess she can find out this weekend at the show

Well I've had girlfriends who complain....hence the word "had". I have a job that pays my bills and for my toys. If a girl doesn't like what I do with my money I suggest she hit the curb before I kick her to it. Get a job biatch and don't worry about my funds!!!!

i must be the lucky one. my GF knows about all my stuff and the prices of all of them, and she doesnt care. i really need to buy her some bling bling or sumthin soon tho. some flowers every other week and your golden http://****************.com/smile/emthup.gif tho, my parents think all my stuff is half the price i actually pay for it or they would flip.

i definitely have to hide the mods from my parents. i mean they know i lowered it, they were cool with that. they didn't like it when i chopped out the resonator... my dad is cool with it, my mom is as long as the stuff i do is DIY type stuff.
