Thanks for the reply, obviously you've done a lot of thinking about this. You said this kit was the best for what you want from your car. Can you tell me what makes your choice the best for you?

Yeah months on months of thinking and researching because after Stage 2 it’s boring. At least in my eyes.

The price point compared to other units.
- 2205.24€ / $2522.72
Just for the kit.

Turbo
- EFR 7163 is rated for 550hp
I’m trying to hit 500hp more or less and with the spool characteristics (ti gamma material turbine. Might be marketing gimmick but shows results) of a GTX2867R and the head room of a GTX3071R (ish) this seemed like the best choice. Also I didn’t want to run a Garrett turbo.

Largest turbo you can fit without modifying your firewall or making adjustments (someone correct me if I’m wrong)

Other than that, it’s all I’m thinking when you put turbo kit to turbo kit side by side.

Thank you, I'll keep an eye on this thread to see how things go.

Been awhile since I’ve updated thread.

Turbozentrum EFR 7163 came in.

Rear Super Pro Sway Bar is also in packaging.

Now we wait for Mabotech Injectors and LPFP to start the build.

This looks nice! I was one of 10 to score the Mabotech m500 at presale pricing + free shipping. Just got my mabotech v2 injectors. After telling Frank @ Mabo that I’ll be running e85 proflex, we ended up throwing into my order a Walbro 535 lpfp.

What LPFP are you going with? Running WM and/or E85? Building engine?

Thanks man! Let’s see how that M500 boogies! I’m excited to see what numbers people are about to push.

I’ve been looking up these for now:

PAG Parts LPFP 525 w/ PM4
http://pagparts.com/product_info.php?cPath=79_108&products_id=742
Approx Price: $1430

Bar-Tek LPFP
https://www.bar-tek-tuning.com/2-0l-low-pressure-upgrade-fuel-pump
Approx Price: 389.87€ / $400

Then Mabotech has a kit as well. But we haven’t gotten into detail on what that has.
Approx Price: $???

When I come back stateside I would want to go full E85/ Proflex. For now going to tune for 93. Build engine next year. Who knows plans might change though!

Do you think you will be hitting 500 HP on 93 octane?

I think he could. I'm out of the loop on what's possible with aftermarket injectors. .64AR might be a little restrictive at higher rpms especially if you're building the top end to rev it out.

When you say pro-flex, do you mean UM pro-flex or a Mabo E85 tune? If the plan is a UM tune when you get back to the US I'd consider running some of your fueling decisions by them ahead of time just to be safe. It would suck to put in a pump and have to swap it out in a year or whenever.

Good stuff though, should be fun.

Yeah the options you have for aftermarket injectors are meh.

RS3 Injectors https://www.akstuning.co.uk/shop/ho.../shop/home/481-rs3-8v-injector-kit-with-custom-wireing-loom-for-tfsi-ea113.html
RS4 Injectors but you have bad spray pattern https://www.urotuning.com/products/...-fuel-injector-set-for-big-turbo-2-0t-fsi-079906036d_qty4?variant=8392214675511
Porcshe Injectors that are apparently plug and play but I haven't done much research on that.
Dynodrome Injectors http://www.dynodrome.gr/?product=stage-2-tfsi-injectors700hp
Mabotech Injectors
AKS Tuning Injectors (Just announced) https://www.facebook.com/AKStuning/photos/pcb.2897633337028825/2897633117028847/?type=3&theater

Mabotech E85 is the plan.

Well time has come and decided to part ways with my R to a slightly better platform (fueling wise) to a Supra.

I believe the dealership took it to action. If it ends up in a junkyard that would be sad... Either way if someone does find my R it does have some tasteful mods done to it.

I’ll have a big turbo package ready to sell within the weeks.

Will include:
EFR7163
Mabotech Injectors
Mabotech Drop In LPFP
Eurodyne Cable (0 Credits)

Also have some stock parts laying around. I’ll throw that in the ad as well as things come in.

That would be criminal, these cars are pretty rare and just a massive amount of fun. Hopefully it finds a new home.

Congrats on the BMW, er.....I mean Supra. ;):p They still giving away a free track day with NASA with the purchase?

Yes, I really wanted this to find a new home but it wasn’t on time. Originally I wanted to get an R32 in Red but that was looking for a needle in a haystack. About as rare as any Tornado Red R. I was also looking for an MK7.5 Tornado Red in DSG but once I had my mind set it was doomed.

Next VW for sure is going to be a R32 or a RS3. Gotta love those engines.

They did say something about taking this to auction. I wouldn’t be surprised because they also had a Focus RS on the trailer too and the worker did mention about was going somewhere else.

I would have to check that...
