They are overwhelming my VW relevant stuff and cluttering my feed. Don't care about EVs or SUVs; not a boomer. I'm on VWVortex, not soccermomVortex or YuppieWhoCan'tChangeHisOwnBrakesVortex

Any help appreciated

There's this vintage technology you might like, called a 'bookmark' or 'favourite'. Nobody knows how it works, the programmers who wrote it all died decades ago and didn't leave any documentation (typical), but the old lore says that it somehow let you save a clickable link inside your browser (I know, right?) which would take you directly to a "web page" of your choice that contained what you would consider relevant stuff.

Who uses the homepage…?

But let me be the first to tell you how important your contributions to this forum are with your 271 posts over the last 8 years.
Yeah, the ancient, reanimated, disease ridden zombie of an old random online car forum that Vortex now happens to host is the primary reason this site exists, not the 80 model specific forums and dozens of other engine and equipment specific forums that contain highly technical information that people rely on to purchase, maintain, repair, and modify these vehicles in a sort of comprehensive public library of everything VWAG.

Seriously OP. Go to the forums you like and “follow them”:

and then use this button to pull up your favorites:

Then you don’t have to read about @hawc not changing his break pads or our soccermomVW SUVs and you can stick to the reading the forums that you like and never contribute to.

When the MK7 GTIs came out I saw old people in them ALL THE TIME. Our first MK7 Golf R sighting after buying ours was a dude in his 70’s who had absolutely no reaction to seeing ours. I’m not even sure he knew what he was driving.

Attention all TCL members: We have been fully identified. Accept the designation.

I originally found my way to The Car Lounge because of my fondness for fat guys in small cars, but TCL is so so so much much more than just that!

Enthusiasts helping enthusiasts!

Isn't this what it's all about?

Like identifying regional cop cars so when you're on the road in unfamiliar territory you'll know what to look out for.

Image

.

Another example of that helpful hivemind interaction is getting input on what make year might be best for the car you're looking for.

Image

.

TCL is a great spot for getting up-to-date with current news too.

Image

.

As well as current trends too of course.

Image

.

Witness the intensity of reasoned debate.

Image

.

Enjoy the deep speculative conversations.

Image

.

Also serves as a supportive therapeutic interchange.

Image

.

Rage comics give good mental health vibes too with much LULZ.

Image

.

Bōsōzoku Rabbits are a bonus nugget.

I think most of my news comes from the car lounge since I've uninstalled reddit lol
