need a switched 12 volt signal for the ecu... swapping in cis-e. anywhere good to get it off of the fuse box? i would rather get a male spade connector and buy an inline fuse to do this and plug it into a slot rather than doing it anywhere

There's a bunch of wires on the back of the box. Toward the driver's side, there's a bunch of black ones. If you have power windows - the relay is plugged into this.
Super easy to find with a cheap-o voltmeter from Radio Shack.
