Re: isv reroute questions (ag602nv)

a stock G60 engine is loosing about 0.2 Bar of pressure (don't know psi)
through the Idle Stabilizer Valve. the reroute solves this problem. I myself got a boosvalve between the intake manifold and the ISV so no pressure is lost. Do mind that you need a Chip reprogram to run safe. because at high rpms the charger is blowing so much air, and now none is lost, that the CO is dropping dangerously low since the chip is not programmed for also injecting more fuel.
furthermore there is especially a huge thorque gain in the lower rpms

Re: isv reroute questions (JRG60)

here's some info from BBM. http://www.bahnbrenner.com
Approx 10 + hp gain
Eliminates ISV boost bleed off
Idle stabilizer valve bypass
Increases boost by approx. 2-3 psi
Reduces contamination of Idle Stabilizer Valve
No oil blockage or valve cracking pressure losses
Smoother idle and more reliable than check valve alternative

Re: isv reroute questions (Dre_G60)

2 things...do NOT expect a 10hp gain...and do NOT think you are going to gain 2-3 psi....if you do get 2-3psi its from the boost you were losing. ISV just gives it back to you

Re: isv reroute questions (BLUE NRG)

Another note the isv reroute is not as straight forward on a 91 as it is on a 90 because of the IC plumbing re-route on the 91's. One hose needs to be plugged up and part of your upper plastic IC hose needs to be cut in order to make it fit properly.
