Got my car a few weeks ago, and I've been noticing that there's no power in first or second gear lately. when I come to a deadstop at the lights and go the car feels like a civic DX. Is this true with everyone else?

Are you sure it feels like a Civic DX? I mean, you are absoultely positive that it doesn't feel like an LX? or maybe an EX? What about the Nissan Sentra? GXE models are pretty pathetic too.. maybe its like that?
Oh yea.. I know the problem. You know that skinny pedal on the right? yea, that one.. its the GAS. You gotta PRESS on it fully to get acceleration. Oh.. another thing, you gotta release that lil pedal on the far left too... yep, just let it slip off of the side of your foot while ya got the skinny pedal on the right pressed to the floor. That should get you some acceleration. Oh, make sure that stick thingie in the center, kinda under the stereo, is in the upper left hand position before ya do any of that pedal work.

on the other hand if you are getting "shifty" then you may have a boost leak or something of the sort.
My suggestion is to drive it for 1000 miles or more then got WOT to redline and see how it feels ... if it still feels like a low HP motor then I'd bring it in to the dealer

nope ... even on my heavier A4 1st and 2nd are a blast ... after your break in miles just get a little more aggressive with the gas pedal and make some boostotherwise you are cruisin with 125hp
