Hello all!
I need a help.
I have Passat 3C DSG. The transmission was defect (HQL), and i replaced another TM (HFQ), and i get fault code: Szerda,25,Március,2009,15:22:56:54795

This fault code sets if the engine and transmission software are incompatible (software version), you need to install the correct DSG Mechatronics controller for this vehicle, check with your Volkswagen Parts department for correct part numbers, the VAG number on the controller screen is the part number. However, sometimes the issues can be fixed by flashing the proper software to the mech unit as long as the software is compatible. Some of the mech control units have motorola processors and some have infineon based processors so make sure you know what you are doing if you plan on going with the crossflash option. Worse case if you can find a competent tuner the error code can be removed from the mech unit as long as everything else works as it should. Hope that helps,
