Hello, I recently discovered that one of the windows (right front passenger) on my 2013 CC won't index when I partially pull on the handle but the other windows would when I was testing them out. I also noticed that this window would roll down much further than the others when I unlock my door from the key fob. Just hoping anyone would have any advice how to troubleshoot this issue. Thanks.

Try raising the window all the way up, then open the door. that's what I did and it fixed it for me.

thanks for the advice. I tried but still didn't work. ended up taking my car to a VW mechanic. he said the door lock actuator microswitch was worn out. so he replaced it with a new oem part. still didn't solve the issue. now he said it could be something wrong with the door handle or the module needs programming. at least he didn't charge me for the work.

the problem is, my window worked before (partially rolled down when i pull on the handle before opening the door so it wouldn't catch the rubber seal). this just happened recently. not sure what's happening. dealership wanted to charge me $130 just to look at the car.

This always happens to me after I unhook the battery to do whatever.... the door handle will not activate the window.

Try this. Turn the key on and roll all 4 windows down using the first click on the switch. Do not use the one touch down. Once they are all down, roll them back up the same way. Do not use one touch up. This should reset them.

Thanks for the help. I tried. Still didn't work. I ended up taking my CC to another VW technician. This guy finally fixed it! He reset the microswitch. He even showed me where it's located. I didn't even need to replace any parts. This technician also pointed out that the previous tech who took my door apart didn't reassemble it properly and had I gotten in an accident, my side airbag wouldn't have deployed.

Hello jgeraldini, the switch is located behind the door handle. You'll have to remove the door panel. It's a bit difficult to see but it's a tiny little switch. When you pull on the door handle, it makes contact with that microswitch which drops the window. I recommend taking your car to a certified VW tech and he\she should know where it is. My VW tech ended up disconnecting the power connector and reconnecting it. That must've reset the switch.

My 2014 CC battery died and dash lights flashed, driver window was going up and down by itself. I disconnected the battery terminals, charged the battery to max which ended up being 97%, car started fine except driver side window one touch would not work, and window would not go up all the way would only roll 3/4 of the way up. (It rolled down all the way.) I was pulling my hair out. Solution is so simple, turns out I had to have the driver's door fully CLOSED to get it to roll up all the way. Functions fine now!
