I read that in the app description for the S6 but on my S7 Edge it works perfectly:D
I too have the S7 Edge. I'll be getting my cable in tomorrow. Is there a procedure to make the cable work properly? Like, plug the cable in to the phone before the JB4 unit and then starting the car? I know some applications require step by step process' for things to work.

Thanks!

Start the car. Connect jb4 to phone. It should prompt if you want to launch the jb4 app.

Anyone mixing e85 with 91 to get higher octane? We do not have 93 available in ABQ but there happens to be a station with e85 next to my house. I was going to do 30% e85 and 70% 91 but worried about the e85 eating my fuel system.

I've mixed 2 to 3 gallons of e85 with 93 be over long periods of tike and never had an issue. You will go though fuel quicker as ethenol has less BTU's of energy per gallon compared to gasoline.

When should be leave fuel open loop at 40 and when should we change it to 60?
Mostly cars with bull bolts on mods or guys running high boost settings can check there fuel trims. If they reaching in the high 30's you can start raising it. If you keen to play around even the normal cars can multiples of 10 up to 60 and bring them down to the 20's.

So for example, I've got hi-flow downpipe and the factory airbox mod. I'm good at 60 right? I'm getting my OTG cable tomorrow. Log to follow soon.

Is there any way to remove speed limiter with the jb4?

No. This is covered in the first post:

Will the JB4 remove my speed limiter?
At this point in time, no. The speed limiter affects many safety parameters and until we are certain there are no ill effects on this we will not have speed limiter removal available. The speed limit exceeded is also a trigger point logged in the ECU which may cause issues down the line for any form of claim.

When it comes to the Fuel Open Lopp setting. Should we be targeting certain AFR numbers or focusing more on the Trim numbers? How much control do we even have over the AFR numbers? I would assume the open fuel loop setting would affect the AFR, e.g. If we ran really low boost settings with high Fuel Open Loop numbers wouldn't that make things a bit rich? Or would the ECU override this and do an adaptation? Basically what I'm suggesting is that I'm sure every car has a "sweet spot" When it comes to using the Fuel Open Loop with certain boost levels, aftermarket bolt ons, AFR and Trim levels. Or is it really just not that simple when you factor in the ECU failsafes?

These will get affected on a highly modified car with E85 and high boost.

In general keep a eye on the trims. If guys dont want to play around with this set it at 60 and you covered.
Fuel open loop does not affect AFR target, it just provides more rail pressure if the ECU needs it. At a certain point the fuel trims will max and the car will start leaning out but this will most likely only go to JB1 levels of AFR which is proven to be safe over a long period.

Thanks didn't see that. Just annoying topping out in 4th gear. Just installed jb4 upgrade from jb1. Running map 2 and all I can say is wow. Theirs more power all over the rev range. Running a mix of 3g of e85 and just a CTS intake. Great job George. Bought the app on my phone(which is great) so gonna run some logs tonight😁😁😁

How fast are you going in 4th gear?
